This December, a lot of junior reporters are flocking to Jurong Bird Park. Every weekend, from now till 29Dec, kids can register at Penguin-razzi to get up close to the penguins ! This activity is for kids 5-12 years old, and pre-registration is required. Kids get to learn more about their favourite penguins. Meet and Greet session, everyone say hello to Chocolate. This 9 month old African penguin is the latest celebrity penguin hatched and raised at Jurong Bird Park ! Kids will also learn about the different types of penguins. We all know the majestic Emperor, and Rockhopper. What about African and Humboldt? More penguin activities can be found at Penguin Coast.

Oh, the African penguins at Jurong Bird Park are well adapted to the tropics already. Watch Chocolate swim and chase after his keeper here. Remember to grab a copy of the Penguin Times. Why are kids running so fast across the bridge? We are at Lory Loft again, and we love to feed the cute lories ! Each cup of nectar costs $3, but the smiles from the kids are priceless 🙂 Read our previous experience here. Do not miss Lory Loft on your next visit. At 1.30PM, we head back to Birdz of Play for the next Penguin activity.

At Penguin Party, join senior reporters for some dance and photography “lesson”. He will teach the kids how to be “reporters’.

The penguin mascots “Pengu and Pengy” will be organising a wet and wild penguin party for the kids. Expect dance, songs and magic show too. Bubbles never fail to excite the kids. After taking photo with the penguin mascots, all the kids get to enjoy one ice cream. There are plenty of fringe activities to keep the kids busy 🙂 Sand art never fail to attract the kids, offering precious moments for parents to rest one corner. Penguin face-painting anyone, or maybe design your own reporter note book cover 🙂 After all the penguin activities, our kids turn their attention to the water playground at Birdz of Play. This playground needs no invitation. Happy to partner Cheekiemonkies at the birdy playground 🙂 Video : Family fun at Jurong Bird park
