Christmas is the time when we celebrate our blessings and share them with others.
We have two Christmas gifts ideas for active and adventurous family members.
1. FitBit Charge HR
Fitness tracking devices are the rage recently. Everyone wish to track their heartbeats and fitness journeys π
With my Fitbit Charge HR, I can track my jogging and cycling sessions, my sleep and even calories!
Being healthy is not only about sports, but engaging in good nutrition and healthy habits.
This little device now ensures that I do not slack in my pursuit for healthier and fitter lifestyle.
I always believe that a sporty family is a happy one. You will definitely see my families outdoors more often.
Charge up your Fitness!
While exercising, we can look fashionable and sporty too. Many more Fitbits on this website.
2. GoPro Hero
This is every boy and Dad’s dream toy. I have brought my GoPro underwater, Gokart, hiking, cycling, themeparks and basically anywhere! I only need to bring it paragliding or parasailing π
The fun thing about GoPro is it captures our outdoor family activities. The stunned face on the roller coaster, the smiles when we go snorkeling. The freedom of cycling π
GoPro’s fisheye lens mean we can always wefie without missing out anyone π
Holiday photos look different with a GoPro.

Come December every year, and everyone’s got the festive moods.
Orchard Road lightup, Christmas trees everywhere, parties and feasting.
We are sharing our own favourite Christmas venues in this post π
Singapore lies smack on the equator, the high humidity means we are always perspiring :p
That is not going to discourage families from enjoying the festive mood in the month of December.
We have a few personal favourites to recommend, and you guessed it.
If the venue has snow (I mean foam), it will score high on kids’ FUN rating.
1. Gardens by the Bay
The Super trees never disappoint. With their tall structure, add in a few “lightbulbs” and tata instant Christmas Trees π
The highlights are the beautiful illumination from the Italian Luminaries and Spalliera!
They blink like precious stones from miles away and families and friends cannot resist selfies with these beautiful arches.
We always look forward to Gardens by the Bay’s Christmas celebrations, especially the Flower Dome!
Standing inside the dome and looking towards The Flyer, you have Singapore’s magnificent skyline infront of you.
The cool aircon does make us forget that we are in the tropics π
This year, Flower Dome has been transformed into Toyland.
Teddies, Aeroplanes, Toy soldiers line the domes! Plenty of family photos for you and me.
We have shared more details on our blog –> https://sengkangbabies.com/mediainvite/christmas-toyland

3. Tanglin Mall
When the kids were smaller, no one did Snow foam better than Tanglin Mall.
Everytime we drove around the corners, Tanglin’s Christmas decoration and snow always look so inviting.
I still remember Tanglin calling their “snow” avalanche”!
When you see the kids covered in foam from toe to head, you will understand why :p
Tips : Regulars will wear swimwear and even rain coats, do bring a towel and spare clothes.

– Snow (weekday) – 7.45pm to 8pm

4. Changi Airport for the StarWars Fans (Dads and Mum)
Changi always has this mega bouncing castle at T3 during year end school holidays.
Families love to pop by Changi Airport for food and shopping, followed by some festive activities.
The Force is strong at Changi this year, with X-wing and Tie fighter parked for the month of December!
Witness Stormtrooper crush the rebels every Sat 4pm.
Besides the traditional bouncing castle, kids can navigate their BB-8 through a circuit too.
There are always so many activities to keep families entertained and fed at Changi Airport.
We really love the huge open space for kids to walk and run.
