New Ubin Seafood Angus Beef

You can call New Ubin Seafood a Restaurant or a Zhi char stall, but there is one dish on the menu which you must order! The pink succulent Black angus ribeye steak (rated 4.5/5), all the way from USA.

The meat is just tender and sweet, you do not even need to add any sauce. The accompanying fried rice is also top notch. Rice is topped with beef fats 🙂

German Pork Knuckle (3.5/5) (the original knuckle photo)
Crispy and crunchy, chew on it. Texture feels a bit like roasted pig. We heard this dish goes well paired with beer 🙂

Time to feast, table full of meat, but kids are hungry!

One of our regular dish, Baby squid (3.75/5).
We love the chewy and crispy squids, always so crunchy and appetising.

Sambal kang kong (3.5/5), not too spicy, so kids can have it with their rice too.

Prawn Paste chicken (3.75/5), tender and juicy.

Cereal Prawns are huge and addictive! (rated 4/5). We ordered a “medium about 10-pieces” portion, as we thought “small about 5-pieces” would not be enough. The prawns are huge and appetising for “medium”, and we struggled to finish the whole plate. Very popular with the kids.

Aviation career anyone?

[ Advertorial ]

The next time we take a flight, kids will pay attention to ground handlers and appreciate how their luggage rolls from check-in to conveyor to the plane. We now understand the Aviation industry is not only about pilots and flight attendants.

At the first zone Now Boarding, we can follow both the Aviation industry milestones and Singapore’s milestones. 2004 – 2005 was the year when Singapore based Budget airlines brought flying to the masses, leading to a boom in the airline and tourism industry.

Zone 2 Ready for Take Off, we love the tilt-shift video about “24 hours in Changi”. This zone takes visitors behind the scenes to discover what makes Changi Airport world class and how the aviation community ensures the safety of passengers.

Normally, we only see Point 1 Check in and we wonder how our luggage will be loaded onto the plane. We do not get to see the background operations. Many people work together to ensure our flights depart on time.
