Anyone wish to participate in Singapore Zoo Run?

Have you heard of Singapore Zoo Run?
Zoo Run 2015 will be the seventh edition.

On 07Feb (Competitive) and 08Feb (families), humans will be dashing around the Zoo and perhaps Night Safari grounds. Family route might take you 6km near lush green foliage, expect Giraffes and Elephants to be bewildered πŸ™‚

The race was first started to remember Ah Meng, Singapore Zoo’s (and I dare say Singapore) most iconic icon (Orang Utan).

Dates and times : Safari Zoo Challenge (competitive)
– 07Feb 2015 from 4pm – 7pm

Safari Zoo Fun Run (Family, relaxing)
– 08Feb 2015
Races : 9am – 12pm, and carnival : 10am – 3pm

Registration is now available at this link –> SafariZooRun.com.sg and Early Bird registration ends on 31 December.

Family can expect fun activities at the carnival after 08Feb’s run.

The cheeky Dim Sum Dollies are back again. From 11 to 23Dec, the three of them will tickle audience with “The History of Singapore Part 2: The Growing up years“.

Since 2002, the Dim Sum Dollies have retold Singapore’s tales in a light-hearted way.

To quote from them,
“The Dollies celebrate a people’s history – every Singaporean’s role in shaping the Singapore we know today.
From the Kallang Roar to ‘chop-ing’ seats with the tissue pack, everyone has contributed towards our nation’s personality and sense of identity. And at 50, Singapore is still an adolescent with a lot more ‘growing up’ to do!’”

Those growing up during the 70s and 80s will definitely reminiscence Dim Sum Dollies’ FUN story telling. Follow Selena Tan, Pam Oei and Denise Tan as we laugh through Singapore’s post 65 History πŸ™‚

My kids might not understand campaign “Stop-At-Two”, or soccer frenzy “Kallang Roar” at the old National Stadium but they might be familiar with one ugly Singaporean trait, the tissue paper chope! Heh, even Mas Selamat (who escaped from jail) did not managed to sneak away from Dollies radar.
