Shopping for Comfort and Design at Skechers Ion Orchard

[ Sponsored ]

I am not really a shopper, I normally hang around and catch up with my movies while the Mrs shops πŸ™‚

But I could not help ogling at the colourful (and may I add vibrant) selections at Skechers’ concept store.

We were at Skecher’s Ion Orchard to pick up some shoes for our upcoming Shape Run 2016.

Technically, two kids and me are just “accompanying” the wife as Shape Run is Singapore’s first ever all-women run. We are participating in the 1.8km Family Fun Run category.

Besides running gears, there are some chic sneakers for guys too.

But I am so jealous of the gals! They can choose from more designs and all sorts of colours! Vibrant design and frills, and the shoes are really comfortable too.

The little ones are spoilt for choices too. Cartoon characters, bright colours, fanciful and comfortable footwear for kids to dazzle.

We heard the best selling shoes at Skechers are the Go Walk 3 (Air Walk). Mummy is so impressed with the lightness and comfort that she brought two pairs too.

NANTA cookin is Fun and Entertaining

Everything from Korea is popular, and Nanta Cookin’ is no exception.
Cooking up a storm in the kitchen, the antics of the chefs had the audience laughing in stitches.

The Chinese name is 乱打 (seriously haha!), and the way chefs chop and slice the ingredients might tell us why NANTA is so hilarious and entertaining.

We heard Nanta is the no1 show in Korea, and you do not need to understand “An1 Yeong1 Ha3 Sae3 Yong1” to love the performance.

Cooking meets comedy meet Samulnori (traditional Korean instrument), you can expect more hilarious interactions then real cooking.
Everything in the kitchen can be transformed into a musical instrument. The ladle, pots, knives and even stove!

We witness some funny kitchen rituals too, praying to their culinary God perhaps haha, and someone stuck in a container πŸ™‚
Flute, a goose which refuse to stop quacking, and an awesome amount of drumming.

We have never seen a messier kitchen before, but audience soak up all the fun stuffs.
We even clap along enthusiastically with the chefs.

Along the synchronized drumming, I reminded the kids that our home’s kitchen utensil should remain in the kitchen. No nunchakus or shields πŸ™‚
