Spartan Kids Race BTSC Singapore

One more day to Spartan Kids race at BTSC (Bukit Timah Saddle Club).

Three of the kiddos will be attempting 3.2km (no2 and 3) and 1.6km (no 4 girl). Hope they are ready to embrace the Mud and Fun :p

I had to toughen them a bit before race day. Hope they would be motivated to run faster and more importantly, help each other overcome the obstacles. Teamwork!

Training for Spartan Kids Race BTSC

Aroo Aroo Aroo! Spartan kids race training is starting for our kiddos.
I just know Spartan training can start as young as 4 years old! (checkout Faye from blog mmlittlee !)

Spartan for Junior might be less taxing compared to adults (BEAST! or ULTRA!!), but it is definitely not a walk in the park.

There are two upcoming Kids race in Singapore. SengkangBabies will be sending a squad to BTSC Kids Race on 11 Nov Yeah!

BTSC (Bukit Timah Saddle Club) will be our first Spartan attempt.
No2 and No3 will be running 3200m and No4 will try 1600m :p

I am trying to imagine the kids looking fierce with mud, bandana and attitude haha. Think SOC (Standard Obstacle Course) kids version, extended.

I heard there might be some sandbags, spears, rope climb, definitely a lot of mud. Exercise and adventure, sounds like a good punishment workout for the active kids.

Spartan Kids Race is not only about conquering your fears and doubts. It is also about teamwork, helping each other across obstacles, or maybe pull someone out of a pit.

I would like to see the kids help each other and improve their resilience and independent Aroo!

Who knows, kids might get hook on adrenaline and attempt a Spartan Trifecta. They just need to complete three circuits in Singapore Malaysia, more details here.

Organisers are recommending that kids attend a Kids Workout on 04 Nov too.
