[ Media Invite ]
Organised by TOUCH, The Giving Family Festival aimed to connect community and give back to society.

Over the weekend, Touch’s The Giving Family Carnival has a series of activities to engage families. Families can buy vouchers at the carnival, to exchange for games, food or merchandise. Sales proceeds would be channeled to Touch’s beneficiaries.
At the exit of Stadium MRT, visitors were invited to print their palm on a wall. For every palm counted, NTUC Fairprice Foundation will donate $5.
We sponsored three colourful palms :p
Coupon and activities.
The arena was filled with parents and kiddos. There was something for everyone.
Each coupon booklet is worth $50 and we soon realise that it is not a lot. The games and merchandise are not cheap, but we are spending for charity.
Magician on stage too.
Video : Instagram clip (Kids enjoying themselves)
Kids spend most of their times at the carnival ‘tikum” stalls. We only scored a duck after many tries.
To celebrate one inclusive community, I always encourage the kids to volunteer and give back to society. i hope they will have a heart for the less fortunate.
Kids might only know about the carnival fun, but I told them that the vouchers and sales will go to help the less fortunate.
When we help others, we are helping ourselves too by enriching our character and improving our empathy. We should help if we have the means (time, labour or donations).
There were some interesting cakes and terrarium workshops too.
The best activities for us were the drum walker and bumper car.
Long queue for nerf gun, otherwise it should be Fun!
Thank you Touch and the Giving Family Festival for the meaningful and fun invitation. I hope my kids appreciate the need for us to contribute back to society.

Greetings from Home Nursing Foundation (HNF). HNF is a charity organisation which provides home medical, nursing & therapy to patients for them to recuperate at the comfort of their own homes. We have just launched our first online fundraising campaign (Wave your Magic Wand). We hope to collaborate with you for a good cause during this festive season. Would like to invite you to join us on this giving journey by sharing our campaign with on your blog on a pro bono basis.
Our young volunteers are pledging to do 200 magic wands to deliver to our patients during this festive season. For the first 200 donors who donate $50 or more, the magic wands will be delivered to our patients’ house.
Hope you can support our young volunteers and patients to bring warmth and love to them. In addition, if you would like to, your children can also pledge to do some of the wands.
Look forward to hear from you!
