What comes to mind when you hear Monster Jam®?

Super-sized wheels, both in terms of dimension and engine power.
Imagine Rides running wild in pit, crushing other cars, leaping over dunes and sometimes somersaulting!

Did I mention crazy suspensions yet? Monster Jam Trucks can JUMP! Expect Sand and dust when the donuts and drifts kick in!

Crazy flips and rides overturning and turning tortoise are very common. I suspect some visitors will be looking forward to the spills, wheels coming off and crashes too!

Come 19 August, if you step into the Pit, be awed.

Imagine National Stadium, converted into a dirt track, with humps and littered with scrapped cars. Wow! Families will be screaming in excitement!

– Loud and powerful 1500 Horsepower engines!
– Go for drivers’ autographs and photos. Each ride and their drivers are celebrities, each has a personality. Hey, I just knew some of the Monster drivers are females, YES Boon Xin go 🙂

– Go feel and touch the Monster Jam® machines. Each weighs up to 10 tons! Each wheel is 350kg, with tyre size of 43″ inch! I told the kids our MPV’s tyres are only miniscule 17″ inch.

Monster Jam® is celebrating its 25 years anniversary this year, and 10 rides will be roaring to Singapore.

Let ’em Play, climb to your Heart’s content

[ Media Invite ]

Welcome to Let ’em Play, we would say it is one of Singapore’s latest
“indoor” playground.

While the boys prefer the High Elements, the girl prefer whacking the bats at AR (Augmented Reality) Wall. Either way, parents can enjoy some aircon comfort while kids sweat it out.

Fun Climbing Walls

Once you enter into Let’em Play, rows of fancy walls (and tree too) greet you, inviting you to climb them 🙂

There is a “Let ’em Play wall too!

High Elements

Before you know it, kids would be scrambling up the High Elements!

Not to worry, everyone will be equipped with safety harness and helmet first. Carabiner checked and secured, let’s Go and climb to our hearts’ content.

After overcoming their initial fear, the kids were soon playing catching in the High Elements!

Besides the High Elements, there are a lot of “Fun Climbing Walls” at Let ’em Play. Not your usual rock walls, but colourful, fanciful and creative vertical obstacles!

Look at the difficulty rating before attempting. Giraffe and Let ’em Play structures look harmless but they both rated “4”. Would be very challenging to scale and submit these two “walls”.

Parents would need to belay the kids up the walls. But there are always guides around to help.

I love the opportunities for kids to challenge and interact with each other. Example, Speed Climb and Transparent Climb would be intense, who is the faster climber. Taunting each other is allowed :p

Urban kids might have lesser opportunities to climb trees nowadays, try this artificial coconut tree (wall). Rated “2” for difficulty 🙂

Families, kids, friends can always switch between High Elements and the Fun Climbing walls.

Various obstacles to challenge the kids, although I suspect most are too easy for our little adventurers :p

The highlight at Let’ em Play would be the feature AR wall (Augmented Realty), this is too cool!

Team up, climb the rock wall and whack the “projected” bats! Checkout the video below.

You can even set the difficulty levels, so that bats can fly higher and faster. Competitive kids will be climbing like spiderman to try and catch the Bats.

Take note AR wall can be tiring, as kids forgot about exhaustion as they were trying to Level Up. Definitely Fun and Challenging 🙂

We heard this is the only AR wall in Singapore. Take note there is a separate pricing and duration for the AR wall.

Thank you for the Fun invite, Let ’em Play. Even parents will be motivated to try some of the obstacles too. It would be interesting to pit kids against  parents 🙂

Do follow Let ’em Play on their website and Facebook for latest updates. We have uploaded more photos on our Facebook album.
