Chong Pang Nasi Lemak

When Daddy ordered Chong Pang Nasi Lemak last week, he made sure every packet has a different ingredient. You see, there are too much good stuffs in Chong Pang, we want to try everything.

When it comes to Nasi Lemak, Chong Pang is one of the popular one.
At one time, we use to patronise Punggol Nasi Lemak along Kovan, but we noticed the price kept increasing and portion smaller.

At Chong Pang, the chicken wing and drumstick is a must-order dish.
Crispy, crunchy, juicy.

For Daddy, the rice is always the first thing which strikes you. Take a sniff, let the fragrance trigger your hunger pangs. Love the slightly charred otah 🙂

We have no idea how a Mermaid fish looks like, but the crispy version is crunchy and appetising !

Besides the main dishes, the side dish (cabbage and long bean) is also very crunchy and refreshing. Kimchi will enhance a Korean meal, and the cabbage at Chong Pang deserves some recognition 🙂

Boon Wee felt in love with the crispy mermaid fish, and Boon Kang’s favourite is chicken wing.

We leave the most important ingredient for last 🙂
Chong Pang Nasi Lemak’s chili is slightly sweet but the spiciness comes afterwards. Daddy can just consume plain rice and chili for lunch.

Potent chili complements the whole Nasi Lemak serving. Daddy recommends that you eat with your right hand, to increase the Shiok factor !

Over all, we rate Chong Pang Nasi Lemak 8.5/10.
Expect a minimum queue of up to 20 minutes, and park at the opposite HDB blocks.

3) Have you read our 奶奶’s recommendation yet, it is our Sunday stable food, and we rate Cheng San’s Nasi Lemak (Ang Mo Kio) a score of 8/10.

4) Friends say Hup Lee at Chong Pang serves the best chicken wings:)
