Last Saturday, we pop by Promontory to view the fireworks again. It was a last minute decision, but boy did we enjoyed ourselves.
Video : Although we were quite far from the edge of Marina Bay, our views were unblocked, and kids enjoyed themselves.
The fields were packed with party revelers, all eager to soak in the atmosphere.
Happy Birthday Singapore !

Hi, may i know the spot where ur family watched the fireworks? How do you park your vehicle? Hav always wanted to do this, and esp now that the kids are older and more manageable for a night out. Thanks!
hi LS, map link –> http://www.streetdirectory.com/sg/the-promontory-marina-bay/52667_1.html
You can stand behind the “promontory”. Good thing is no trees and tall structures to block your view, and east exit to carparks.
We normally park at One Raffles, Marina Bay Link or One Marina Boulevard.
The best experience would be along the Merlion, or Boardwalk outside MBS, but might be too loud for kids, and too crowded.
cheers, Andy
