Tip Top Curry Puff

Tip Top Curry Puff has been around that corner at Ang Mo Kio Ave 8, like forever.

Even with the price increase over the years, Daddy still patronise the stall. Blame it on Daddy’s grandma, who got us hooked since young. And it is hard to find a replacement for your childhood nourishment.

Now our kids love to tear the crispy crust piece by piece, before consuming the ingredients. You can call Daddy a sucker for curry puff. After all, $1.30 is expensive for floor+curry+egg πŸ™‚

In case you are nearby, do drop by and savour πŸ™‚

The Slap, an Australian drama

An interesting drama series is coming from down-under. “The Slap” garner five awards at Australia’s AACTA, Australian Emmy awards.

Premiering on Mio TV’s Sundance on 12Apr 10pm, look out for this thought provoking drama. Just imagine what will happen if someone slap your child?

A mini synopsis…
~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Based on the best-selling novel by Christos Tsiolkas, the eight-part one-hour drama traces the shattering repercussions of a single event upon a group of family and friends. It is a searing and controversial portrait of middle-class life and the mores and morality that shape modern,multicultural Australia.
In Singapore, and most Asian society, we normally do not discipline other parent’s kids, no matter how irritating they are. We trust the parents to discipline their own kids.
In worse case, we just shake our head and make that “tsk tsk” sound, letting everybody know we are making judgements haha.
Maybe our friends out there can share how you eyeball other misbehaving kids or how do you feel when other parents chide your kids ?
We get that a lot, but me and Mrs are numb already, our kids can be very naughty mischievious too, no matter how cute they look !
