Last weekend, we cycled to Sengkang Floating Wetland for our family photoshoot with SG Cloud Productions.

We wanted to capture our family memories in our neighbourhood, and in our most comfortable attire, casual 轻松 🙂

If we are relax and comfortable, I thought kids would coordinate better. Our photo shoot would be Sports-themed. No need foundation or hair styling, just be ourselves.

Drizzle and gloomy sky could not stop us, we had fun cycling in the rain. I was so glad we proceeded, despite the uncertainties. The kids were game and adventurous to follow through.

A little rain should not derail our plans, we are all trying hard to build a resilient and strong family.

We met up with Irene at MacDonald, she also captured our family memories at Toa Payoh Town Park in 2015 (read our photoshoot post)

And we are super happy with the latest results 🙂

The best family photo shoot is not about the location or props, costume or makeover. It is about family chemistry and dynamics. We are so glad that SG Cloud Productions went along with our suggestions 🙂

Irene and team captured our “family bonds and spontaneity” into the photos, these precious memories will be imprinted into another chapter of our family growth stages.

I had always wanted to capture the scenic green and blue, nature and man-made landscape at Floating Wetlands. The zig-zag bridges, the green foliage, and the HDB blocks peeping over the foliage.

Try cycling and jogging here around 1845 for a mesmerising view, when the Sun sets followed by blue hour 🙂

Besides our bicycles, the mangosteen and sliced oranges are our props.

Even snails became our props! (this is spontaneous not scripted)

Love how the siblings “cooperated” to get the job done. Those with teenagers and multiple kids know how challenging it is to coordinate photo shoots with active kids.

(Keep still, smile, look left, look at the camera, someone will always miss an instruction haha)

Well, kids are not designed to keep still :p

The happy photos does not mean our family is perfect, we also have our conflicts and quarrels. But me and Mrs hope siblings will align with us and PULL the family in the same direction.

Sometimes, we quarrel because our characteristics are too similar.

We just have to take this episodes into our parenting stride and manage with an open heart (and tons of patience) 😁

I did something memorable on my birthday last month, family photoshoot with Cloud Productions at Toa Payoh Town Park.

We were in our sports attire as I wished to emphasised “A family which trains together, grows strong together”.

Then and now, my brother and me 🙂
After Toa Payoh Town Park was rejuvenated (the pond was crowded with tortoises then), I am happy to find familiar arching stone bridge and low hanging trees.

We did not specifically pick any colour-matching clothes, but the pictures turn out great. Cloud Productions make us look photogenic and Happy. Say Yes Please 🙂

Truth is, it is never easy to gather the kids’ attention. They were tired after morning activities.
The tortoises were a constant distraction, and I had to remind the kids not to throw stones at the poor tortoise!

The weather was slightly warm but the trees were really inviting. We pose around the branches with gorgeous background water body.

In case you are wondering why Boon Xin refrains from smiling, she is very conscious of her missing front teeth. She still looks very sweet though. I am definitely bias 🙂

Our package was 60 minutes, but I suspect maybe 20 minutes was spent coaxing the kids to cooperate. You know, the reminders “Look here, Open your eyes, Smile, 5 more minutes finish”.

Cloud Productions’ Chief Photographer (Irene) was very patient with our kids’ antics. I know how hard it is to make everyone stay still for 10 seconds and look at the lens haha.

Within the hour, Irene captured a few lovely and warm family portraits. Some of the poses were spontaneous, but we love the effects! Mummy especially like the first picture, with background sunlight embracing us.

The kids had fun running up and down the various contours too.

Yeah, the siblings like to play with stones too, they sometimes aim the pebbles at each other too!

We hope the siblings will continue to love and care for each other as they grow older.
