Lekas Highway cycling is Happening!
And YES, Lekas 2026 date (12 Sep 2026) has been announced.

Cycling Lekas event itself is happening.
They closed Kajang highway for cycling, and imagine cycling under the Tolls!
Imagine cycling next to thousands others under the moonlight.
But what is more FUN is doing it together with friends!
2024 was my first edition (a wet one)
Post event, we always have some recovery activities.
We rewarded ourselves with Pantai Temiang climb (Malaysia’s New Zealand) afterwards.
(okay, I admit recovery is very subjective)
Some of the photos from our 2024 ride.

The RAIN followed us for 60% of the route!
Sweet Satay reward.

Do pop by my 2024 blog review and Youtube too.

After Lekas, we drove to Pantai Temiang (near Seremban) for our recovery.
2025 Lekas Highway cycling was double the fun.
We increased our headcount.
It was a first Malaysian cycling event for some of our friends.
Sharing our 2025 Fun photos and videos.
As usual, there are two categories. Those who want to chiong and podium will gun for the 78km category.

Our favourtite claypot fish at Six One Restaurant (Kajang).

We are friendly and chill cyclists, appreciate the opportunity to go for overseas events.

Before and after your Lekas Highway Cycling event, you can pop by nearby attractions too.
1)Pantai Temiang is known as Malaysia’s New Zealand. The nearest town Seremban, has a lot of good food.

2)Putrajaya is the administrative capital of KL (Selangor). Many IG corners, and cycle around the lakes.

3)Maybe climb Bukit Tunku (Mayor Hill) to catch the sunrise…

4)Or join others to jog cycle in downtown KL’s car free day!

5)We would recommend folks to visit KL bike shops too (window shop). Whatever brands you fancy, there is always a shop to cater to your poison.

Purple dots are only some of the bike shops in KL Kuala Lumpur.

6) For those in KL, you can consider taking the metro (MRT) to Putrajaya or nearby attractions too!
(On a separate occasion, I took the train to Putrajaya and join Sunday Car-Free Sunday event too)
