KL Good food

We got three food joints to recommend for KL Kuala Lumpur (吉隆坡). There must be more, but we only got a short 3D2N itinerary. We blog about Jalan Alor earlier 🙂

Happy hours. Siblings, colleagues and friends, everyone can enjoy a cuppa and relaxing afternoon 🙂
recommend KL cafe

Lunch at Lot 10 十号胡同 (No 10), next to Bukit Bintang monorail station.
Lot 10 Shi hao

Too many choices under one roof. Not any food but supposedly the best food in Malaysia consolidated 🙂
Lot 10 food court

Ideal for families who have fussy eaters :p
Go ahead, the food quality here is above average, love the variety, and reasonable price.
food10

If you like Japanese, they got some good ones from the opposite supermart.

Still undecided at 十号? Look out for the queues and listen to the “wok” 🙂

Exploring KL requires a lot walking, we recommend tea time at Tous Les Jours.
Nevermind this cafe is French or Korea, it is a hip place place to be seen. We ordered some pastries, cheese cakes and chocolate cake.

Under Wolo hotel, these F&B cafe outlet has two floors.
French Korean bread KL

From the second floor, you can enjoy your cappuccino while watching KL city in motion.
Tous Les Jours

The surprise dough for Daddy and Mummy was the humble but delightful Almond croissant!
Almond bread tous les jours

Value for money considering the variety of pastries.

When we talk about Char Siew and Roast pork (叉燒,燒肉), Restoran Oversea (海外天) always comes up.
This restaurant is famous in KL for wedding banquets.
food1

Deep fried grouper is good.
food2

But the Roast Pork and Char Siew are the signature dish, it is ordered on every table. No wonder you need to call in and reserve beforehand!

Looking at the caramelised skin makes one drool! The sweet roast pork skin will melt in your mouth 🙂

Restoran Oversea is a short 10 minutes walk from monorail Bukit Bintang, walk past Parkroyal hotel. (GPS N03.14468, E101.71374). Prices are on the mid to high range.

Bukit Bintang area is famous for shopping and food. This is not the end of our KL trip, we need to go back again to find more KL good food!

To our friends, fans and acquaintances, we sometimes get waves and hellos from our neighbourhood. My spouse and kids will sometimes smile back, even though they do not know the other party haha 🙂

Thank you! Our blog would not have come so far without your support 🙂

– Do we live in Sengkang?
– What happen if we move out of Sengkang?
– What happen when our kids are no longer “babies”?
– Are we planning for No 5?

For answers to the above questions and more gossips, read our feature at Nuffnang. Follow SengkangBabies Blog on our Fanpage and Instagram.
