A little background about “Families for Life”.
“Families for Life” aims to celebrate and reinforce the importance of the family. This iconic national event is championed by the Families for Life Council (FFL) (previously National Family Council), with strong support from the support from the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). The Celebrations aims to remind Singaporeans to put their families at top priority and spend time together to create shared family memories.

2014’s theme is “Family Time, Precious Time”.

Our family will be looking forward to segway and perhaps kayaking. If this is your first trip to Sports Hub, you might wish to pop inside the splendid stadium too. (Just take note the water playground on the second floor might not be ready yet).

Have you seen the rock climbing wall inside Kallang Wave already?

At “Families for Life” celebrations, the various activities and sports will provide an opportunity for families to nurture a passion for sports too. We always believe that sports will buildup a child’s resilience and instil a never-give-up attitude. The family which enjoys sports together can only become healthier and stronger.

You can expect families to throng Sports Hub on 13 and 14Sep, do take note parking space at Sports Hub needs to be pre-booked. You can park at Leisure Park or the public carparks and stroll over. Stadium MRT would bring you straight to Sports Hub’s doorstep. Click on Sports Hub website for more travelling routes.

Instagram our family

If you have been following us on Instagram, you will noticed our kiddos are quite happening (多姿多彩). Daddy now prefers to update the latest gossips via Instagram first.

We are quite busy and adventurous during the weekends. Thanks to our blog, kids get to enjoy a lot of “lobangs” 🙂

We got four kids in our Family, and SengkangBabies are generally a happy bunch.

You always hear Daddy repeating this statement in our blog. “There is only one childhood, make it memorable”.

Browsing through the last few months’ activities, Instagram has captured our family’s growth and memories. Time flies.

– 7 years before No1 goes NS
– 9 years before No4 gets her O levels
– 10 years before Daddy hit Big 5

Kids grow up overnight. White hair refuse to stay hidden.
Daddy always tell the kids “Enjoy the moment, Cherish the kinship”.

A lot of things are beyond our control, but we learn to adapt.
When things do not turn up well, we make the best of the situation.
Go ahead, make mistakes and learn from experience.
The road ahead is long and will be uncertain but your family will stand by you.
