December children activities

Our listing of December children activities is late πŸ™‚
Nevertheless, we wish to highlight some interesing sights, sounds, and events during the last month of 2013.

The first section we would recommend is for you to visit Singapore’s Parks and Gardens.
25 are listed, one for everyday.
Singapore is small, but there is no lack of playgrounds and parks, mostly Free πŸ™‚

– Venue : Birdpark’s Penguin-Razzi
Duration : 7-29 Dec (weekends only)
Activities : Get close to the penguins, child entry free for every paying adult (16Nov to 31Dec)

Activities : River quest, the boat through Amazon basin , is finally ready!

– Everyone knows where to buy cabbage and fruits right? Well, Gardens by the Bay‘s Sugar Mountain has some refreshing ideas ! Strawberries, pineapples, pumpkins, capsicums and tomatoes, they all have a story to tell. Our GBTB stories.

Always wanted to help, but not sure where to start?
– Learn how NTUC render help for the less privileged, and enjoy kids activities, 14/15Dec 1100 to 2000 at NLB

– share your old text books. 14/15Dec 0900 to 1500, Gan Seng Seng Secondary school

– OpenRice will pledge 100g of rice for every new member signup from October till December 2013, and all proceeds will be donated to needy households within the Central Singapore district.

Tanglin Mall is still our favourite (the Foam, Foam and more Foam!)

City Square Mall, it was Chuggington last year and Thomas for 2013 πŸ™‚
From 30Nov to 15Dec, Thomas and crew will perform at (Sat\Sun 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm), and (Tue\Fri 2pm and 7pm). Snow will fall daily at 8pm and 9pm.

Marina Square (Winter Wonderland) is going hightech from 22Nov to 25Dec. Download an app and watch how the Virtual World characters (Augmented Reality) pops up πŸ™‚

Changi Airport‘s T3 slide is always popular in Dec ! Read our review to find out why Bikini Bottom is so happening !

– From airport to trains, Downtown line MRT will be holding a open house this Sat from 1000 to 1800. Commuters at the new stations (Bugis, Downtown, Telok Ayer and Chinatown) will enjoy free train rides. We recommend LTA gallery for kids too.

2 Degree Ice Art is cold ! It runs from 20Nov for a 6 month exhibition.
Ice is not melting because the whole area is -15 degrees Celsius !

“Titans of the Past” dinosaurs and mammoths at Science Centre will only head home after 23Feb2014. Kids big and small should be impressed πŸ™‚

We will end December with Legoland. No thanks to aggressive advertisements, most kids are asking parents for a Legoland trip. We will share our Legoland 2D1N Hotel stay and WaterPark for your reference πŸ™‚
