We are spoiled for choice when it comes to Singapore staycation. We had stayed at Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway last Saturday.
Before we enter our room, we saw an interesting signage “Coolest Pool in the World”. We have heard rave reviews about this pool and the infinity views.
First, we should inform you about Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway’s unique floor levels. Carpark is on the 8th floor, and Lobby is on the 10th.
The lift is pretty hi-tech too, just press the LCD panel.
If you are not driving, there is a ground floor lift which will take you to the 10th floor (Facing Somerset Road).

Our Singapore Staycation got a happy start, free upgrade to club rooms.
The pool is on the 19th floor (same floor as the Gym). After dropping our bags, we wasted no time to dip into the pool.
The fantastic city view from MBS to Outram direction. We got to enjoy this view from our room and pool.
The Sunset and Sunrise is famous in Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway, but we somehow missed it (below left image credit Hotel Jen).

While the kids enjoy their electronic games, the parent sneaked out for some romantic strolls.
Dinner, Lunch? You will not go hungry around Somerset. The best thing is we could wander around the neighbourhood in our comfortable flip flops.

More shopping and coffee can be found in Orchard Gateway, Centrepoint, 313 or Plaza Singapura.
Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway is all about Location location location. Our Singapore Staycation is smacked in the heart of Orchard Road!
If you need to venture further, Somerset MRT is just below. Singapore is well connected, there was no need for us to drive out.
Hey, you can even visit the hip library or sing to your heart’s content π
If you are looking for Green spots, Singapore Botanics Gardens (UNESCO Heritage site) is 3km away and Fort Canning Park should be interesting too.

There is a wide spread of breakfast selections, but kids still prefer the “old school” delights.
With so much food and enjoyment, I need to burn off some calories. The well-equipped gym at Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway allows you to have a panoramic view while you run or cycle.
You can even cycle outdoors π
We love the green themes around the Hotel (corridors, function rooms etc).
