Scariest slides at Legoland Malaysia Waterpark

Looking at Daddy attempting all the rides at Legoland Malaysia Waterpark, you might not believe that he is still fearful about roller coaster and Project-X rides.

When the kids came along, Daddy had to teach himself to face his own fears, including tree top adventures. He need to be the kids’ role-model.

Talk about parenting perils… He still does not like some of the Legoland (Dry) rides like Project-X or Dragon, but he will gladly accompany the kids one more round.

Let us try to share on a 5 point scale which is the most scary/fun slide in Legoland Waterpark.

Video : Red Rush(Fun 4/5, Fear 2/5), Brick Blaster(Fun 4/5, Fear 4/5), Splash & Swirl(Fun 3/5, Fear 3/5).

Video : Joker Soaker(Fun 4/5, Fear 1/5)

Fear factor of “1” comes from the cold water and big bucket’s content.

Video : Twin Chasers & Splash Out(Fun 3/5, Fear 2/5), Tidal Tube(Fun 3/5, Fear 2/5)

(not in picture) Wave Rider(Fun 4/5, Fear 4/5)
The never ending green tube, when we reach 20kmh (estimated) in total darkness, ending with a anti-gravity climb. Everyone must try Wave Rider once.

We are always happier and the rides more fun when we do it together !

For the sake of comparison, Mini Dragon(Fun 4/5, Fear 4/5) and Project-X(Fun 4.5/5, Fear 4.5/5).

Can you imagine six of us riding down together! Slide Racers must be at least six storeys up, and Boon Xin just manage to clear 107cm (hooray!).

Easter Egg hunting at Gardens by the Bay

[ Media Invite ]

We pop by Gardens by the Bay (GBTB) for Tulipmania and Easter Egg hunt last Sunday. Everyone was delighted that the Tulips have bloomed already, read about our Tulip bulb planting experience here.

The landscaping reminds us of the Netherlands, amidst the colourful explosion of Tulips.

The Easter long weekend was packed with crowds everyday. Tulips and Miffy are drawing everyone to Gardens by the Bay (please buy your tickets online).

Packed!

At the entrance of Flower Dome, visitors are greeted with mini Netherlands, courtesy of KLM’s Delft Houses. We heard these houses are collector’s item exclusively for KLM’s Business Class flyers.

After registration, our kids and Cheekiemonkies are eagerly waiting to start their Easter Egg hunt. GBTB staff has hidden the eggs in baskets and clogs around Flower Dome.

Equipped with a plastic bag, the boys left no stones and shreds unturned!

We also discover that Tulipmania visitors were helping themselves to the blue coloured eggs. Poor kids could only find “empty nests” haha.

Our rewards, the blue chocolate (Blue for KLM’s colour). KLM and GBTB staffs are kept busy refilling chocolates.

Flowers everywhere, Tulips fragrance lingers in the air, so Refreshing !

Click Click, shutterbugs clicked non stop at Tulips and Miffy.

It is really crowded, but no one seems to mind.
The Tulips are really Mooi! (Dutch for Beautiful)

Every Tulip colour has a meaning.

Boon Yee even lucky dipped an adorable Miffy suitcase!

After an eventful Easter Egg Hunt, we pop over to Cloud Forest for some cooling respite. Seems like a gecko and mynah had the same thoughts.

We are insulated from the humid weather outdoors.

Thank you Gardens by the Bay for the Easter Egg Hunt, kids really had a field day !
Do pop by our Fanpage album for more photos.
