Birthday girl and Dry Ice Fun

Smile Girl, it is your Big Day 🙂

This week, we celebrated Boon Xin’s 4th birthday.
Sengkang’s Babies have all grown up too fast :p

Boon Xin is in a happy mood the whole week.

Earlier, she caught up with her LV boyfriends Thomas and Xavier 🙂 They have known each other since their crawling days (literally), and it is always fun to watch this group of buddies renew their friendships at each outing.

4 Daddies 8 kids, somehow we managed to squeeze in the small pool, and had so much splashing Fun !

On her actual day, Boon Xin woke up to a princess doll. We told the boys not to let her know doll is from last Christmas :p

Boon Yee will always keep her secrets, they are very close to each other.

Daddy took leave to blow some candles in school 🙂
Xin is very happy that family and friends can celebrate her birthday party together.

Tell you a secret, when Friends leave “Happy Birthday” messages on our Facebooks, Boon Xin was very happy when Mummy recites well-wishers’ names one by one. She was beaming non-stop, so Radiant !

Thank you to all, you really make our princess’ day sweeter 🙂

In the evening, Grandma (奶奶) join us for round 2 of celebrations.

Boon Xin got anxious when her brothers quickly blew out her candles one by one.

Close up of her cake. She chose all the animals herself, and she even indicated her preference for a milo ice cream cake.

After finishing our cake, Daddy brought out a bucket, and we recycle the dry ice.
Kids can create their own Cameron Mist, or Genting Highland’s Fog !

Earle Swensen’s new tantalising menu

A few things capture your attention when you pop into Earle Swensen’s, it’s logo indicates “Grill. Salad Bar. Ice Cream“.

Everyone knows about Swensen’s Ice-cream because the birthday boy or girl gets a free ice cream, but Grill?

Last week, Daddy was invited to savour Earle Swensen’s new menu at Vivocity. Regular Swensen’s patron would be glad to know that the popular Dory Fish and Chip is still on the menu, and Earle Swensen’s is offering the Salmon version too.

Looking at their new Grill selections make us hungry.

At Earle Swensen’s, all mains come with complimentary salad bar selection, the salad bar is also available a la carte at $13.90. If you are looking for a healthy diet, get ready to be spoil for choice.

We started with Chicken Wings and mussels for our appetisers.

Creamy Seafood Chowder ($10.90) is served in a bread bowl. Mussels, prawns and squids clamour for attention ! Immensely satisfying to dip the bread into the rich broth 🙂

Abalone with honeydew and melon ($16.90). Cool refreshing freshness.

We love the smoky BBQ Beef short ribs ($29.90). Succulent and juicy, the tender sweet beef is smothered in Swensen’s secret recipe sauce, and melted in our mouth.

The Lamb Loin Skewer ($36.90) uses Australian lamb loin. Seasoned with aromatic herbs and spices, but Daddy thought the lamb is a bit too tough.

Daddy’s main course is one of Earle Swensen’s recommended dishes, Ultimate Wagyu Burger ($23.90). Swensen’s single patty originates from Australia’s wagyu cattle. The cheese and secret sauce compliments each other to bring out the wagyu essence.
