I am a Blogging Daddy of four. Our kids are roaming Singapore to bring you FUN,
This blog is use to capture our kids' growing up phases, and we want you to leave our blog with a smile :)
When the kids are in a good mood, all the photos turn out super Fun and comical ! And they was how they spend their school holidays ๐
The last two weeks were packed with activities, alas school holidays is always too short!
We have two Birthday boys in Dec, Boon Wee (25th Dec), and Boon Yee (27th Dec), and we always make it 3-in-1 with Christmas ๐
Boon Wee’s surprise party at KSL, we brought him a cake on Day 2 of our Johor Bahru Holiday.
Back in Singapore, we love Nai Nai’s banquet, her Curry is always so delicious ๐
Brothers and sister, always loving siblings!
Rewind to Boon Yee and Boon Xin 4 years ago ๐
Party ๐
Cakes, Yummy !
Birthday songs with cousins ๐
Christmas Presents always bring out the smiles.
Boon Yee was happy to see his Durian face appear on Okto Birthday page.
Swensen’s free ice cream for birthday kids, one serving is never enough ๐
We spend the last minutes of 2013 at a multi-storey carpark overlooking Anchorvale Swimming pool. A good spot for watching the fireworks, and no crowds ๐
We start the New Year praying for Health, Happiness and Peace ๐
Then we swallow some snails for dinner, Daddy told us it was chicken ๐
End up, we love Saizeriya’s Escargots !
End of school holidays, Boon Yee, are you ready for P1?
Mummy and Dady are impressed with Boon Kang (No2). He was very patient in teaching life skills to Boon Yee (no3).
Tying of shoe lace and counting money are very important traits for school going kid ๐
Mummy gave Boon Yee a Star for bravery award haha ๐
Boon Yee’s day 1 orientation so far so good, only short of one tooth :p
We hope you have a fruitful start to 2014 too ๐
Life is Good, we want to borrow a tagline from LG.
With Health and Happiness, we have the most important ingredients to build a Happy Family. This is also Daddy’s simple resolution for each New Year ๐
..Family
– In 2014, Boon Yee is going to Primary 1. Daddy gladly broadcast on Facebook that Boy has finally stop wetting his bed ๐
– Boon Wee did well in his exams, he can claim credit for his initiatives, hard work and discipline. Mummy’s pressureshaha coaching helps too :p
Boon Wee’s confidence continues to grow.
– Boon Kang is showing maturity, he likes to help ๅฅถๅฅถ (Nai Nai) and Mum with chores. Mummy has delegated him to help our P1 boy learn how to tie shoe lace, or get correct change for tuckshop (budget $1.50)
The siblings like to disturb each other and write memos too ๐
– Boon Xin is acting like ๅฐๅฝๅฎถ (head mistress), showing maturity beyond her age.
99% fun loving girl, but she can have a feisty temper. Our princess always picks up everything faster from her loving bros.
Mummy say she is growing up too fast.
– Yes, National Day Parade rehearsal (NDP)!
We balloted six years without success. There is Nothing like singing Majullah Singapura together with Singapore. Our family gets to sing our patriotism Together ๐
– Daddy and Mummy loving each other – although we are not like Ang Mo Caucasians kissing for every reason (goodbye, goodnight, good morning, thank you), we do simple things like holding hands, expressing affection for each other.
If kids see parents in love, hopefully they will grow up to cherish their future partners.
– Daddy and Mummy’s first date nights here, Daddy hope there will be more in 2014 ๐
– Our family is getting more media savvy (shy), starting with Channel Uโs screening of 100% Singapore (็พๅ็พๆฐๅ ๅก). Check out which other family is featured ๐
.. and in 2014 Feb ไบบๆฐๆปกๅฑ2 (Meet my Family).
..Personal and Friends
– Haze and Riot. These two episodes in Singapore make a lot of people uncomfortable (literally). It was no longer Fun Business as usual.
Many were thrown into uncharted waters, not knowing how the scenarios would develop. However, it was a golden opportunity for us to teach kids to appreciate what we have, and do not take peace for granted.
They need to know that the world can be a dangerous place.
– Getting to know more parenting bloggers who become friends ๐
Daddy is especially proud to know a group of like-minded Dads from Daddy Matters. Collectively, we wish to demonstrate how Dads can participate in active parenting.
Daddy wish to thanks all the inspiring bloggers out there for your help, your guidance and your link love. Parenting is never easy but we parenting bloggers rock and take everything in our stride ๐
We were happy to be invited to KL Kidzania and Legoland events.
These events keep our kids occupied during school holidays.
We started our blog to capture the kids’ memories and bring more Fun to parents in Singapore. And we certainly do not mind the added frills and attention ๐
Somehow, our blog manage to squeeze into Singapore’s Top-36 listing!
Our blog’s milestones will not be possible without our Fans, Readers and PR\Sponsors. Thank You for showering our Blog with so much Love!
And growing our Fanpage to 1000 fans too.
..2014 Wish list and action items
– Big 40 beckons in 2014. Daddy say he does not feel older than 30, but kids keep reminding him of his buldging tummy ๐
– started our Instagram journey in Sep, we can see why it is addictive to capture our memories in photos, but too much #Hashtag haha !
– more time to get involve in community work
– more time to exercise
In 2014, we will share a new Playground at Gardens by the Bay.
SengkangBabies would like to shout Happy 2014 to everyone, wishing you and family ้ฉฌๅฐๆๅ, ้พ้ฉฌ็ฒพ็ฅ!
